Why do kids & tweens need their own products?
Developing Scalp Microbiome
A kids scalp is still developing and produces less oils than an adult scalp. So, kids products need to use much gentler surfactants, no harsh chemicals and only low doses of natural oils to avoid sensitivities or greasiness.
Finer Hair
Their hair is more delicate and fine. So, they need products without silicones or ingredients that can build up on hair and cause breakage. Kids conditioners also need to be more light weight in texture.
More Tangle Prone
Kids with longer or curlier hair get lots of tangles from active play. So, kids products need carefully selected natural oils to hydrate hair and tackle knots - without the silicones.
